@ayeshahalam - I would like to ask your guest on - Breakfast At Dawn - respectable Professor Ejaz ul Hassan Sahib - whom I personally respect a lot for so many other aspects of his personality -than his being on the "think tank for culture with PM" - a very simple question.
Since when "Corruption" has become "Culture" of PPP"? It used to be fight against Oppression and Corruption in a "Dama Dam Mast Qalandar" way. Has professor sahib or others on Think Tank or PM sahib have taken notice of following Tip of iceberg scenario which is "fast damaging fabric and image of PPP" and may lead to political demise of a party which was founded by ZAB "to change the rotten system". PPP could not bring any durable change for so many factors but became herself "a component of corrupt and failed system". The following is a Litmus Test result. Nonetheless, Ijaz sahib should tell us how NRO type "corruption drycleaning" laws will enhance Pakistani culture? And how Ijaz sahib will "paint this scar on our society" as he is a master artist "of painting societies Ugliness as Beauty".
Now read below to "do MATIM" (curse ourselve)on the level we have reached.
“ Corruption peh hamara haq nai hai? Auron ka hai. Yeh to culture ban chuka hai. Agar jo nai karta wo nuksaan karha apna. Hazaar meh se ek admi corruption nai karta, wo to apna nuksaan karta hai .” [Don’t we have a right to corruption? Others do. This has become a culture. Whoever doesn’t do it, they’ll find they’re ruining themselves. In a thousand, if one man doesn’t do corruption, he’s ruining himself.] PPP minister Sardar Abdul Qayum Jatoi in a current affairs show interview.
